Maximize Screening Efficiency with High-Performance Mud Cleaner for Onshore and Offshore drilling KINGWELL Mud Cleaner is a combination of Desander and Desilter units with drying shale shaker.

Mud Cleaner is popular applied for onshore drillings & offshore drilling operation, and is used to effectively remove small particles of drill mud, representing a 2 and 3-stage in mud system designed for processing both weighted and unweighted drilling fluids.

The cyclones (desanders and desilters) make the primary separation with underflow directed onto the shaker's vibrating screen. The cyclones for mud cleaner normally have three sizes: 12inch & 10inch size cyclones (Desander) and 4inch size cyclones (Desilter).

Mud Cleaner is normally installed after shale shaker in the solids control systems. The desander cyclones can separate bigger particles from 40~100microns, and he desilter clones can separate 15~73microns smaller particles.

The fine drilling fluids passed shaker screen will drop down to catch tank, and the centrifugal pump will transfer the drilling fluids and feed to cyclones in proper pressure. Only with suitable feeding pressure, the cyclones can work well and separate the solids particles expected.

Correct operation of mud cleaner can remove more fine solids which are not necessary for the drilling operation, and reduce the working burden of decanter centrifuge. The main parts are cyclones, made of high-strength polyurethane, have high wear resistance and ensure long service life.
